As I read this day's devotion, I kept thinking of a friend of mine who is in a crappy work situation. I am giving her a copy of this hoping it might be an encouragement to her until Jesus opens the door for a different job.

I've had 13 crappy jobs in a row - but apparently God was trying to teach me something other than doing my job as unto Him, because in most of those jobs I definitely made that a high priority. But notice she didn't say "...can yield a better work environment" or "higher pay" or "finally recognition." It's really ironic to me how hard Jason works compared to some co-workers of his that have "seniority," much higher pay, and get away with it. But I guess that's what David talks about in the Psalms. We can only see the here and now, not the big picture. Blah, blah, blah. ;)
